Hospital or Birthing Centers
Call your local hospital or birthing center for information on breastfeeding classes (which are great prior to the baby’s arrival) and breastfeeding support groups and luncheons. These are great ways to find other new nursing mothers going through a similar experience as you. Usually lactation specialists are at hand during these gatherings, which can be informative and reassuring.
